Stray Cat Comforts An Abandoned Puppy Who Waits In Vain For The Return Of His Owners

When things get bad and scary, we all need a friend to comfort us in all our troubles. For the abandoned pup in the story below, that friend is a homeless cat.

The dog used to have a home. He lived with an elderly couple in apartment number 103. His life was happy until the couple went to the Senior Care Center. They had no choice but to leave him behind because the center doesn’t allow to have pets on the premises.

For about six months, the canine has actually made its place before house number 103 in the residential area. Every day and night, they’d see him curled up in the exact same spot on a blanket by the front door , in spite of the cold winter, the four-legged furry stays there in a corner located at the entry. Thankfully, he has a best friend cat who is willing to give him the comfort and support that he needs.

The puppy is dumped by his family but refuses to leave their apartment. He lies down in front of the entrance, day and night, accompanied by his faithful cat friend. Every time people pass by, the dog tries to check everyone’s face. It is clear that he still remembers his owners so much and that he was still holding out hope that they would return for him.

“They hug to keep warm when they sleep together at night. Maybe they think they are in the same situation since they met on the street. They know they are different, but they get along well, they comfort each other ”.

However, when residents approached the door of the building, the cat would dart away, watching from a “safe distance.” But, the dog would stay put. He would stare at each one of their faces, almost as if he was looking for someone specific. Onlookers began to assume that he was searching for the faces of his previous family members.

The neighbors built a small house to protect them from the cold winter wind. They also gave them some food to help them survive. However, it is not the best way for them. So a rescue team managed to take them in and find them a new home.

Both of them were said to be in good health, and were then put up for adoption. The residents of the complex took comfort in knowing that the pair would be somewhere warm and loved by a new forever family.
